Mothering England was a debate we had on undervalued Full Time Moms. Frankly, I wish I'd been one. My friend (who was) raised beautiful and well-adjusted young ladies and also ran her home and some art classes. I was absent at work, providing cash but little companionship. Sewing and gardening, biking and more - out the window. However...

It is now my turn to go to art school and I've chosen to wait until after my own daughter left home. Gratefully, I am at the Leith School of Art for 2 courses, "Figures" and "Contemporary Art Practice". This is turning out to be quite a leap in my head, from technically mature to something more dynamic and meaningful - conceptual.
