From Saturday October 19 for the week, St Cuthberts parish church (the oldest in Edinburgh) is exhibiting 900 pictures to celebrate 900 years of Edinburgh parish - curated by Erin from Ukraine - please come by and check out ALL the works. You may see some very interesting buildings, and also enter the sanctuary (which I have never accessed before). I'm looking forwards to it.
The final night there will be a closing with music and entertainment - make it a date!
Also next door at St Johns (end of Princes Street on Lothian Road) is a quilt of squares celebrating the shortened lives of loved ones; very moving and beautiful. Picture of quilt I believe it is there until the end of October 2024.
